It wasn't easy finding some craft that both a 3 year old and a 7 year old would enjoy. But, by buying pre-made birds and nests, the 3 year old busied herself playing with the birds and picking which nest each bird would make their home, while the 7 year old enjoyed manning the hot glue gun and gluing the birds down and adding alligator clips to the bottoms (for hooking them onto the Christmas tree). Simple ornaments, put together by my grandchildren.
Very Nice---You could leave this out year round.
