The Flower Girl

Sunday has come and gone, but the Sunday CAS Challenge over at Outlawz is still going strong.  The Challenge this week is "Flowers."   Flower stamps are not something that I have many of.  Being my style is more in the cutesy catagory, over the years I've given away the majority of my flower stamps.  And what I have left, I did not find overly inspiring for this challenge.   So, I looked through my digi collection to find this flowery cutie by Sylvia Zet at Wee Stamps.

Wee Stamps:  Ruby
I diligently wrote down every Copic color I used on this and then I promptly lost the paper that I wrote it all on.  The sentiment stamp is from TPC Studios and is embossed with Zing! embossing powder.
Thanks again to the Clean And Simple Design Team at Outlawz for inviting me to play along with them these past few weeks as a guest designer.  I had I lot of fun!  You ladies are wonderful!!

Wee Christmas

It has warmed up outside to just above freezing, so the snow is melting away.  For those of you concerned that there will be no snow left for you to come here and shovel -- fear not!  The weather forecast is for 10 fresh inches at the beginning of the week.  Still perfect weather for making Christmas cards for this December.

Singles for Christmas

Merry Christmas morning!  The turkey is in the oven and I am sitting here at the computer, trying to get woke up enough to get the rest of the cooking started -- until then, I thought I might as well post the last of the Christmas cards that I sent.

This card from Wee Stamps went out to Shauna P.:

This Serendipity snowman went out to Tracy S.:

This old-fashioned looking Santa from Just Ink Lined went out to Jill A.:

And this little Whipper Snapper snowman was sent to Monique P.:

Merry Christmas!

Jill's B-day

So far, I haven't done well at all with my New Year's resolution to make more birthday cards. Hopefully, I WILL get at least a few more made this year.

Summer Fairy

Will summer ever arrive this year? Here's a summer fairy for Meaghan to help speed it along. I used my newest favorite green Copic color combo on this -- YG93, YG95, YG97.

Resolutions 2013

My crafting resolutions for the New Year. 1). Finally, start buying some more of the Copics I have been wanting! 2). Make an occasional birthday card. 3). Do a better job of remembering to take pictures of the cards I make. 4). Post all cards here in my blogging journal, so I can learn from failures and successes alike. And 5). Try new things. And 6). Remember to do 1 through 5. "Heidi" from Wee Stamps For Aunt Troy:
