Fall pumpkin
The pumpkin with leaves rubber stamp is by Serendipity. Glaze pens were used to color it and liquid glass was also used, but unfortunately, it doesn't show up very well in this picture.

Snowman Set
We had our first frost of the season, so I thought it was only fitting to make my first Christmas cards of the season, too. Here is Victoria Case's Lil' Snowman. He is the perfect size to make both a full sized 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch card and a little gift card with. The first holiday cards of the season are sooo much fun.Monday, October 5, 2009

Said the Turtle to the Frog
Ben
Here is another digital image by Mo Manning. His name is Ben. He's colored using Copic markers. The papers used are all DCWV. This was my entry for the Copic Buzz Challenge #9 hosted by Mo Manning at Paper Craft Planet. This is a great group and I am learning a lot. To make the fun even better Mo pulled my name out of the hat for the 3rd prize winner on this challenge -- which means I get a free image! Now, if I can only decide...
Mummu might as well dance.

Mummu is a digital image by Mo Manning. The quote on the card is a stamp from Hampton Art. The tulips on the top portion of the card are from the Easter Inchies set by Rubbernecker. The bottom of the card is embossed with the Swiss Dots folder and the Cuttlebug. Papers are by Bazzill and Provo Craft (Mummu's skirt). Coloring was done with Copic markers. The ribbons origins are a mystery.
I've been looking for quite a while for the image that seemed best for my interpretation of all the "dance" and similar quotes I have collected. Mummu by Mo Manning spoke to me. I'm expecting to use this particular image quite often. ...dance...dance...dance...

Sister of Mine

This is a Penny Black stamp colored with Copic markers and backed with flocked paper by Little Yellow Bicycle. The brads by Spare Parts are also flocked. The pre-made card is from American Crafts. The stamp used inside the card is by Stampabilities: "I'm smiling because you're my sister I'm laughing because you can't do anything about it." A sentiment that anyone with a sister understands!

Spring

This is a digital image by Victoria Case Art Designs. She is colored with Copic markers with a little atyou Spica and Sakura gel pen thrown in. On the larger card, I tried using the Stickles for the orange flowers -- I'm not crazy about the way it turned out, but I guess I'll know next time. The papers are DCWV. The paper lace is by s.e.i. The dew drops are by Robin's Nest. The text on the outside of the cards are from Hanna Stamps. The text inside the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 greeting card is a stamp from Stamp Oasis which reads, "If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk in my garden forever." The 2 1/2 x 4 gift card is blank on the inside.

Happy Birthday
This is a digital image called Cake-n-Candles by Victoria Case Art Designs. It's colored with Copic markers (with a little Stickles on the cake's icing). The stars and caption are cut out of craft foam using dies and the Cuttlebug from Provo Craft. The inside verse is a stamp from High Hopes that reads, "Happy Birthday to You!" Finished this just in time to catch the mailman and get it out for a girlfriend's birthday.

Tara by Victoria Case Art Designs

This is a Victoria Case Art Design digital image called Tara. She is colored with Copic markers and Sakura gel pens. The papers used are by DCWV, Bazzill & Debbie Mumm. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby (my favorite place to shop!). Extra flowers were added to the image with pop dots, but it isn't showing up very well here. The inside of the card reads: "Thinking happy thoughts of you!" and that stamp is by Impression Obsession. The doodling on the edges was done with a Zig pen.
