These are the hearts that I decorated for the heart shaped embellishment swap for the A & M paper crafters group on Facebook. We were suppose to make 3 decorated hearts that were 2 1/2 to 3 inches with at least 5 embellishments on them.
I die cut several 3 inch hearts from 110# card stock and layered them up to make a sturdy heart. Topped it with designer paper and added ribbon, stick pins (that I made ages ago when making some for another swap), and the word "sweet" (which is also layered up to make it stick up from the heart).
The 2 1/2 inch one I put together the same way, but instead of using stick pins I used a crystal spray from the wedding department at Hobby Lobby
The third one is another 3 inch heart, layered together just like the first two, but decorated with paper embellishments from my stash (don't know the brand), and a pompom that I wrapped with embroidery floss, some bling and a glittered word.
I didn't take a picture of the acrylic hearts that I bought at Hobby Lobby for her or of the pink fur pom- pom key ring that I bought at JoAnn's.
This waterfall book, I made using the directions from a My Sisters Scrapper tutorial on You Tube. It is the "Graphic 45 Waterfall Folio Tutorial."
