Snow -- Man!

Hello everyone!  This morning I made a card for the Friday's Alcohol Marker Challenge at Outlawz.  After all the CAS cards that I made this past year, I was anxious to add layers and embellies on this one -- after all Christmas vacation will be over soon and I will probably be back to very little time to craft -- so I am enjoying it while I can.  I hope you are too!!!

Tiddly Inks:  Winter Wryn and Snowman
Designer Paper:  Basic Gray's Pine Branch/Avalanche from the Fruitcake collection.
Cardstock:  DCWV
Embellishments:  The Paper Studio (pearls and snowflake)
Ribbon:  ??
Dies:  Spellbinders
Embossing Folder:  Cuttlebug
PopDots:  3L  The horizontal panel with the snowflake and the image are raised up.

Copics:
Skin:  R00, R11, E00
Hair:  E57, E37, E33, E51
Clothes:  YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91
Fur trim:  E33, E51
Snowman:  B00, B000, N1, R00, YR68, YR65
Snowman's Hat:  C7, C5, C3, C1, 110
Snowman's Scarf:  R29, R27, R24, R22, N3
Snow on Ground:  BG72, BG18
Background:  W3
Falling Snow:  Uni-Paint marker (my smaller paint marker was empty, so I had to use the larger one here -- thus it is snowing snow balls instead of snow flakes).

A Christmas Thank You

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!
I made a card this morning using the design for this week's sketch challenge over at Outlawz.  The card may look more like a Valentine, but I am going to use it for a thank you card for a wonderful gift I received this Christmas.  The picture isn't very good (dreary weather today), but here it is:

Hanglar and Stanglar

Sentiment stamp:  Stampin' Up, Embossed w/red Ranger embossing powder
Hearts punched with a Paper Shaper punch, embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and embellished with Spare Parts flowers.
The designer paper was stitched with metallic thread all the way around it.
All papers (including the image and hearts) were distressed with Walnut ink (although it doesn't show up well in this picture).

Copics:
 Skin:  E00, R00, R11, E21, E02
Hair:  E59, E57, E55, E53
Wings:  E33, E51
Shoes and Stick: E29, E25, E23, E31
Clothes:  YG97, YG95, YG93, YG91,
E79, E77, E74
Heart:  R39, R37, R35, R32
Ground: E43, E33, E57, G28
Outlined with Pearl Blue Pro-Marker

Singles for Christmas

Merry Christmas morning!  The turkey is in the oven and I am sitting here at the computer, trying to get woke up enough to get the rest of the cooking started -- until then, I thought I might as well post the last of the Christmas cards that I sent.

This card from Wee Stamps went out to Shauna P.:

This Serendipity snowman went out to Tracy S.:

This old-fashioned looking Santa from Just Ink Lined went out to Jill A.:

And this little Whipper Snapper snowman was sent to Monique P.:

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas 2013

I couldn't let the holiday go by without using some of Sassy Cheryl's images on some cards.

For Carson and Josie H. and Althea S.:

For Amelia and Vicky O. and BreAnn M:

For Karen O. and Donnie and Amanda:

Happy Christmas Eve!

Santa and Elf

These Rubbernecker images are so much fun to color.  (But I will never understand artist's who insist on putting a circle in the middle of checks -- there are a lot of them that do.)

Santa, hisself, went out to Maya K.:

And this little elf went out to Mel W. in Florida:

Bildmalarna Christmas 2013

Bildmalarna stamps are so cute, so I used a few for holiday cards this year.

The first one here was sent to Claire E.  I used some of the Flower Soft that Claire sent me for the greenery around the advent candles and added a little glaze and fake snow to the candles themselves.

For Terrie R.:

For Fiorella C.:

For Dorthy C. and Angela B.:

Just received my latest order of Bildmalarna's and I'm anxious to get to the crafting table and give them a try -- but it will probably have to wait until after Christmas now.  Here's hoping your crafting table is filled with holiday goodies!!

H & S Christmas

Even more than the Magnolia stamps, as far as nose-less people go, I think I like the Hanglar and Stanglar stamps.  Is it my imagination or do they not lend themselves more to the green and brown tones that I love?  My sources say, that the company is out of business now (I know if one goes to the web site, it is not functioning), it seems I found them too late.  Once again, I am dependent on the kindness of others for these images.  Both colored with Copics.

My favorite among them went out to Denise Q.:

The male counterpart to this one (and thus my second favorite) went out to Cathy R.:

Like the cards say:  "Merry Christmas!"

Magnolia Galore

Here are the CAS Magnolia cards that I sent out this year.  I think every one of their nose-less faces are lopsided, but they were fun to color all the same.

Carson's Christmas Cards

My grandson dug into my stash of stamped Christmas images to make a couple Christmas cards.   Here's what he came up with:

Gotta love 'em!!
