Flower Soft Christmas Cards
Last year, I layered 2 entire sets of the Flower Soft decoupage toppers for Christmas cards. I still love them and wanted to do more. Because of time constraints I only got 3 done.
This one for Tracy S:
The same card from the bottom looking up (taking out some of the glare from the gold mirror card stock):
Duplicates of this card went out to Shauna and to Donnie and Amanda:
A close up of the three bears:
The snow is white Flower Soft. I use clear silicone between the layers instead of pop dots. Don't know if you can tell that in this photo:
Happy Holidays!

Boys Can Decorate Too
The main image for this card is by Sugar Nellie. I colored it with Copics and paired it with papers from Bazzill and DCWV. The sentiment stamp is from Stamp Affair. And it is embellished with rhinestones, some ribbon and a little medallion made from stamps by Limited Edition Stamps.
Finished cards like this one were sent to Carson, Uncle Ron and Aunt Charlotte, Dee, and Anne. Merry Christmas, everyone!

A Singular Wreath
What stamp should I use on a card for Bridget? I found several possibles, but no perfects. Then, I found this little wreath from Inkadinkado and fell head over heels in love with it. A chance to emboss, and glitter and color -- all things that Bridget does so well; that I just had to try to make it into a special card for her. I wanted the card itself to be simple (of-course), so as not to take away from the effect of the glittery snow on the wreath. Here's to wishing Bridget and her entire family the happiest of holidays!

Straw Horses for Christmas
It rather surprised me that this little straw horse image from Bildmalarna ended up being one of my favorites this Christmas season; it didn't seem that it was necessarily my usual style. The name of the stamp is "Mimosa with Straw Buck."
The more I colored on it with my Copics the more I liked it, so I actually ended up making 5 cards like this one:
The papers were from DCWV and Bazzill. The heat embossed sentiment was from Stamp Affair. The little corner bow embellishment was from K & Co.
These 5 cards were sent out to Claire E. (Ace Extraordinaire), Marie S., Michelle R., Jane and Chris, and Uncle Duane and Aunt Troy. After making these 5, I tried one more in blue for Althea S.:
(The corner snowflake embellishment is from The Paper Studio on this one.) After making this one, I had to force myself to move on to another stamp. Oh well, there is always next year to make more!

A Classic Look for Christmas
A Christmas Wish for Anne:
The same image and design was used for cards for Brady and family, Bruce and Deborah, and Jon and Linda:
The stamp is by Serendipity and is colored using Copics with a little Stickles glitter glue added. The corner embellishment is by K & Co. The embossed "Merry Christmas" stamp is from Penny Black.

A Wet Christmas
This card for Vicky was not meant for the washing machine, mud puddles or rain. It is after all paper. Unfortunately, our mail service providers thought otherwise. Wet though it might have been -- I'm still wishing HAPPY HOLIDAYS to Vicky!

Four Snowmen for Christmas
My first card of the Christmas season. Is it possible to make a traditional card that is non-traditional? That is what I tried for here:
The same card open:
Image: Whipper Snapper;
Papers: DCWV and Bazzill;
Sentiment: Penny Black;
Coloring medium: Sakura Gel Pens;
Embellishments: Felt snowflakes from Hobby Lobby, rhinestones;
Other: Black embossing powder and Cuttlebug Embossing folder

Halloween Cards 2012
Obviously I'm addicted to Sassy Cheryl still. I wonder if there is an intervention coming...
For Cathy:
The bats on this card for Bill are epoxy stickers:
For Claudia, I added glitter to a K & Co. border and layered it on ribbon:
Krylon spray webbing was used on plain Bazzill cardstock and simple metallic embroidery floss was tied around the front panel on this card for Helen:
For Josie, bright colors and buttons:
For Mel more epoxy stickers (I added stars with the bats this time):
I bought a package of pre-folded bases, labeled as bi-folds. They were bi-folds, but not at all what I expected, so it took a lot of thought to make this card for Trina:
Bridget sent me a pack of Rockstar Stack Mats for my birthday one year (along with a bunch of other goodies) and it was those papers that I used for her little card:
For little pre-schooler Josh:
For Mary G:
For Darchelle:
For Cathie, a crafter extraordinaire, whose inspiration and exuberance I will miss!:
For Terrie, who recently was blessed with a new granddaughter, I used the same Karen's Doodles image that I used on the card for my great-niece:
I wish I hadn't loaned out my "Happy Halloween" sentiment stamps before I made this card for Shauna or would have at least put the rub-on that I did use on white cardstock instead of straight onto the background paper. And I wonder if there is a you-tube video on how to color garlic?! Anyway, my first try at using my new House Mouse stamp:
And that was it, time ran out for making Halloween cards. What's next?

Granddaughters are a Gift from God
Terrie recently had an addition to her family in the form of a granddaughter. So, of-course to help celebrate the blessed occasion, I sent her a Mouse.
The image was colored with Copics, the Serendipity "grandaughter" stamp is heat embossed. The ribbon was layered with some trim on top. And there is a doily under the Spellbinders scalloped circle frame.
Fall Pumpkin
Here is the card that I made for Mary S. using that Serendipity stamp, black embossing powder and Sakura gel pens to color it.

Autumn Cards
Here are the fall cards that I sent:
For Cindy (of-course it's a Sassy Cheryl):
For Diana (another Sassy Cheryl);
Yet another Sassy Cheryl for Bill:
Sassy Cheryl for Vicky:
And wait you guessed it, another Sassy Cheryl, this time for Brinda:
And finally one from Serendipity for Anne:
Two Sassy Cheryl's
To continue my effort to post a picture of every card I've made here are two more from Sassy Cheryl.
This first one went to Claudia:
And this second one was mailed back in August to Petra. Again, I think that her mail handlers are screening her mail, because I don't think she ever received this one, either.

Mo for Ace
While transporting files from one computer to another, I found a pic of this card that I colored for Claire. (Don't even remember taking it!) It is colored with Copics.

Baby Boo
A Halloween card for Allison:
This week, I am hoping to make time to work on some spring-like cards for a few girls living in the Southern Hemisphere. What sort of crafty endeavors do you have planned for this week? Here's hoping that we all have time for some FUN this week!!!

Halloween All Ready?
Halloween is NOT a favorite holiday of mine. Oh, I love fall, but Halloween, not so much. There is one part of Halloween that I like (o.k two parts, but I mean besides the obvious one of the candy) and that is the wonderful images that are available for cards and scrapbooking. No matter what, THEY are terrific.
For Amelia:
The back ground paper was sprayed with Krylon Webbing. (Don't you love that stuff?!)
And here's the card I made for Carson:
Have you started making Halloween cards yet?
